 Andy Novak’s Eagle Scout ceremony will be held on Saturday May 13th at SEAS at 11:00AM. There will be a reception following the ceremony. Join us to welcome Andy into the ranks of Eagle Scouts.

 May 5th, 6th and 7th we will be participating in the Council wide Exporee to be held at Donaldson Center. The list of activities reads like Jamboree. Climbing, Archery, BMX, Scuba Rocketry and more. Plan to be there.

 Blitz Build 2006. The Golden Strip Church Coalition is again sponsoring a Blitz Build in April and May. This year youth between 14 and 18 will be allowed to work at the site. We will distribute the Scouting for Food bags on Saturday February 4th at 9:00 AM. We will be working in Foxwood and Hunters Woods so we can meet at the O’Malley’s house.

We are planning to spend the night in makeshift shelters eating frogs and bugs. I hope it isn’t too cold. We will leave on Saturday the 25th and come home the next day. The plan is to go to Camp Carol Brown near Camp Old Indian. Bring your woolies.

 The February chapter meeting will be on Thursday February 9th at SUMC in the usual place. Preparations for the Spring Fellowship will be in order. Bring ideas for Gobbler 10th anniversary patch. Don’t forget pay your 2006 dues and sign up for the Spring Fellowship and Dixie Fellowship.
