 The OA Lodge will hold its Fall Fellowship on October 5th, 6th and 7th. Fellowships are a great time to have fun with your Scouting friends and enjoy good food at Camp.

The OA Chapter meeting will be held on Thursday November 16th. We will be collecting turkeys for Gobbler Grab.
Fatten up those turkeys.

The February chapter meeting will be on Thursday February 9th at SUMC in the usual place. Preparations for the Spring Fellowship will be in order. Bring ideas for Gobbler 10th anniversary patch. Don’t forget pay your 2006 dues and sign up for the Spring Fellowship and Dixie Fellowship.

| The Lodge cookout will be Wednesday July 20th at 6:00 PM at the rifle range at camp. BBQ, baked beans, potato salad, chips, iced tea, and ice cream sandwiches wil be served. The OA dance pagent and Vigil callout will follow in the amphitheater.

OA News
Spring Fellowship was a big success. Annual OA dues are due; use the registration forms in your Little Carpenter or online at Akk185.org. Monthly A-Ni-Wa-Ya Chapter meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at Simpsonville United Methodist Church. The Chapter is working on earning the Jimmy Stewart Good Citizenship Award. Look on the web at www.jimmy.org.

| The chapter Christmas party will be on Dec. 9th. This meeting will be held at MAULDIN UNITED METHODIST CHURCH across the street from Mauldin Elementary. You might bring your favorite board game or a deck of cards. Since it’s a party bring a snack. Please bring a canned food item and if possible a new, unwrapped toy for the kids at The Children’s Home.
