Summer Camp
We spent a great week at Camp Old Indian. The weather was great; the staff was very well prepared and enthusiastic. The 12 boys who attended camp completed 31 merit badges. We shared our camp site with Troop 15 again this year. It was crowded but very manageable. Maybe we will see them again next year. Thanks to all the adults that helped out with the leadership but a special thank you to Steve Morrison who spent the whole week at Camp.

August Whitewater
On August 20th we will return to the Nantahala River. We will leave on Friday evening and camp so that we can get to the river on time for a 9:00 AM bus. We will also come home on Saturday evening after running the river and eating a late lunch.

OA News
With summer upon us there won't be chapter meetings until September. The Fall Fellowship is scheduled for the last weekend of September.

Finish Up
There are only a few weeks of summer left so look at that list of unfinished merit badges and go ahead and finish one before school starts.

Annual Planning Conference
The planning conference will be held during our regular meeting on September 6th. Be there to influence what is going on in Troop 707 next year.
