Shooting
The December shooting outing will be January 7th. This is not a Scout uniform outing; it is a day at the range to experience a variety of rifles. Any dads or moms that want to come along are welcome. Bring your rifle to show or to shoot.

January - Skiing
On January 27th we will head to Boone, NC and Sugar Mountain. We will stay at the Catholic Campus Ministry Friday and Saturday nights. This is always a fun trip and all family members are welcome.

MB College
The 2012 Merit Badge College will be held on January 21st. MB college registration is completed. You will be receiving your assignments from Mrs. Mack soon.

OA News
OA chapter meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month. In January meetings will be back to usual at Simpsonville United Methodist Church at 7:00. It is time to renew your OA dues. Look in the forms section of the lodge web site akk185.org. On January 28th the AKK Lodge will present the Leadership Development Conference and the OA banquet. Scouting for Food
On February 4th and 11th, we will meet at the Guirl’s house to distribute and collect bags of food and return them to the church. You can bring your own bag of food to add to the mix. All the food collected will be given to the St. Vincent DePaul Society at SEAS.
